TECH TIP - Personal Hotspots on Smart Phones

I want to let you know about a great option on our smartphones (if you don’t already know). Mobile hotspots!

I had purchased my coffee and treat and was set up to get some work done. I had connected to the Wi-Fi but it wasn’t a consistent connection. I am sure that you have been in that situation. Luckily enough, my mobile plan has unlimited data and no usage cap for tethering so I was able to turn on the hotspot on my iPhone and connect my laptop.

If your mobile plan includes unlimited data, check to make sure you don’t have a limited amount of tethering data. If you are good, here are instructions for IPhones and Androids
